HMC became an official sponsor and participant in the campaign in September, 2004. The campaign now provides lunch for an average of 100 elderly citizens a day for 5 times a week and delivers 10kg of rice to more than 1,000 elderly households. HMC has been supporting the program both financially and through the voluntary services of the employees for four years now.

The Rice-Love campaign provides a new model of corporate-led social commitment for an aging society and embodies the spirit of respect and care for the elderly through voluntary services.
