The HMC plant located in Bongdong Eup, Wanju Gun, Jeonbuk is the largest auto plant in the world that specializes in the production of medium to large buses, trucks, and other specially equipped cars over 2.5 tons. It boasts of the largest production capacity and hardware scale in the world.
The vast Jeonju plant located on a large area of land is equipped with production facilities for buses, trucks, engines, and materials, as well as a variety of the latest-technology devices in a permanent research center that allows the plant to continue its independent development and production of over a hundred specially equipped cars.
The Jeonju plant has created an enormous number of jobs in the region of Jeonbuk, vitalizing the regional economy. It has recently added 700 new jobs on two shifts.
